Dear Salvation Army Supporter,

Few people know what a capital campaign is, so I decided to do some research to help us all get a clearer understanding of The Salvation Army’s HOPE Capital Campaign. First, I looked up the word “capital” in a dictionary. There were several definitions for the word “capital”, but I felt that these two were closest in sentiment to our HOPE Capital Campaign: affecting life, essential.

You see, a capital campaign is less about bricks and mortar and more about the people who are filling those buildings with their stories of perseverance, joy, hardship and success. The building projects that make up our HOPE Capital Campaign are essential to the restoration of hope in the thousands of families, children and senior citizens that we serve.

Read about the lives that have been positively affected by our programs and the meaning of our HOPE Capital Campaign will reveal itself.

Blessings,
