Shopping Spree for
Local
Kids in Need
WHO: The
Salvation Army, volunteer
chaperones, and 75 children
from local low-income
families.
WHAT: The
fifth-annual back-to-school
shopping trip funded
by two generous Salvation
Army donors, totaling
$25,000. Teens will
get $250 for new clothes
and shoes, and younger
kids will get $200.
Sears has also generously
given each child a
discount on everything
they purchase that
morning.

Sears,
400 Southcenter Mall,
Tukwila
WHY: For
many of these kids,
this will be the first
time they have ever shopped
for new clothes for
themselves.
