“If Christian Workers and Philanthropists will join hands to effect this change it will be accomplished, and the people will rise up and bless them.”

Renton Salvation Army fills their food supply
United States Postal Service (USPS) employees gathered on an unusually sunny day this past May to fill the Renton Salvation Army’s food bank with over 64,000 pounds of food. Salvation Army volunteers and USPS volunteers worked seamlessly as a team sorting, organizing, hauling and storing the donated food items.

Hunger does not discriminate - it impacts children, the elderly, men and women. Hunger also knows no season and takes aim at its victims in the dead of winter or on a sweltering August afternoon

The Salvation Army’s Northwest Division feeds thousands of families and seniors 365 days a year through its network of food banks. Help us fill the stomachs of the hungry in your community by volunteering your time, donating food or making a financial contribution in support of your local Salvation Army food bank.
